Olivia Young was too tired to think straight.
She soon drifted off into a deep sleep.
The next morning, just as dawn crept in, Frederick Fairfax was already up.
He didn’t want to disturb Olivia Young, so he quietly dressed outside before slipping away.
Olivia Young didn’t wake up until the sun was bright in the sky.
When she stepped out of the bedroom, a man in a crisp suit was standing in the dining room.

Olivia Young lounged into her chair lazily. "The boss is out making money, while we enjoy a nice, relaxed breakfast at a hotel. This is the life, isn’t it?"
"If you’re happy, madam, the CEO will be happy too."
Not long ago, the CEO had still been asking him to look for that mysterious woman he met overseas.
But now, the CEO told him to stop.
He wanted to cherish what he had right now.
To live well with his wife.
The boss’s decisions were always the right ones.
The child may not be the boss’s.
But the wife is!
"You really know how to say the right things." Olivia Young snapped a breakfast photo and sent it to Frederick Fairfax.

It totally looked like some ghostly street punk.

After breakfast, Olivia Young went to meet Dan Lingfei.
Dan Lingfei looked terrible, as if she’d been up all night, sipping her coffee.
"Did he agree to the divorce?"

It’d taken the entire night, but finally, he said yes.
"He had conditions. I can’t expose his affair, I have to keep it secret. The official reason for divorce has to be ‘separated for too long, feelings faded.’" Dan Lingfei’s eyes were full of pain and bitterness.

If babies grew in shells, both mom and dad could help incubate, or even use a special hatchery.
That way, women wouldn’t have to bear all the pain of pregnancy and childbirth. Their organs wouldn’t get squeezed out of shape, and they wouldn’t end up swollen or face so many health issues.
Tech really needs to hurry up and catch up!
"I’d better go," Dan Lingfei picked up her bag. "The kid’s still at home."
"And him?"
"No idea. We split up last night."
Dan Lingfei really didn’t care about Liam Rivers anymore.
After seeing Dan Lingfei off, Olivia Young got a call from Grandfather.
Night fell.
Frederick Fairfax came back to the hotel suite carrying late-night snacks.

Olivia Young, hair down and phone in hand with soothing music playing, stepped out toward him.
"Late-night snack."
"No thanks. Snow and I already ate." Olivia Young walked over. "You enjoy."
Already eaten???
Frederick Fairfax’s face fell, and he slowly began to unpack the food. "You eat with Snow, but not with your husband."
If he’d known, he never would’ve let Bella Snow tag along.
That role didn’t have much screen time either.
Shouldn’t even take a few days.
But, of course, Olivia Young was here these few days too.
And all her attention was on Bella Snow now.
Frederick Fairfax picked up a chicken wing, waving it under her nose. "Smell good?"
Olivia Young took a bite.
He just wouldn’t let up until she did.

His mood instantly brightened. Even one bite meant it wasn’t a wasted purchase.
And since he’d kissed her, he didn’t mind her taking a bite; he finished off the chicken wing herself, and left the rest.
He couldn’t eat much, after all.

"Grandfather called. He wants me to go home and rest up during the pregnancy."
Olivia Young had waited up just to tell him this.
Otherwise, she’d be asleep already.
It was nearly midnight.
She was leaving.
In frustration, Frederick Fairfax ate another chicken wing.
"What if you’re gone and I start feeling sick again?"

Frederick Fairfax protested. "I’m really not clingy. Go home, rest up, and when I’m done filming, the baby will almost be here. I’ll help take care of it. Even if I’m the stepdad, I’ll learn, I promise."
