"Wuwu, then please… be gentle," the little white rabbit pleaded pitifully, trying to bargain even though she was already too weak to sit up straight.
"Mm, I'll be gentle. I'll eat slowly, bit by bit," the big bad wolf agreed, receiving the little white rabbit’s hesitant consent—and began to enjoy his dinner.
Tender kisses left the silly little white rabbit feeling numb, while a large hand began to wander.
Her white, fuzzy pajamas were gently unbuttoned, revealing even paler skin underneath.
"Mmm..."
The dining room's lights glowed a warm white, casting a soft aura over the two of them. The curtains had already been drawn shut by voice command long ago.
Her hair, freshly washed and dried, carried a sweet hint of fruit. Defined fingers slid through it, greedily hooking her slender neck, tugging her even closer.
The lights were bright—much brighter than in the bedroom, where they usually kept them off. Bathed in this dazzling light, she didn’t dare look up.
"Zhiyan, don’t… Not here," she managed to squeak out during a rare moment of mercy from the big bad wolf.
The chair she was sitting in was hard and uncomfortable—not a place for this at all.
Fu Zhiyan bent his head, panting lightly before scooping her up in his arms. Startled, Cecilia wrapped her arms tightly around his waist; her fuzzy pajamas hung from her hips as her 'bunny ears' wobbled in the air.
He strode towards the living room, each movement causing a new kind of tingling along Cecilia’s skin.
The oversized couch was now covered in a thick, wintry plush throw—soft, cozy, and, at the moment, perfect.
The little white rabbit was gently set on the couch. Fu Zhiyan yanked at his shirt, popping off several buttons in one rough motion.
They fell with a 'clatter,' rolling to an unseen corner beneath the sofa.
"Baby..."
"Mmm…" Cecilia trembled in reply, her lips barely forming a response as Fu Zhiyan murmured close to her ear.
"I love you… so much."
Her toes curled, fingers clutching at the velvety cushions—gripping, relaxing… gripping again.
It wasn’t until deep into the night that the satisfied big bad wolf finally carried his soft little bunny back to his den.
The little white rabbit’s eyes were red from crying, and she sobbed herself to sleep.
---
The next morning, the person who was supposed to head to the exhibition center ended up sleeping in.
Fu Zhiyan woke first, glanced at the time, and couldn’t be bothered in the least.
He went downstairs and quickly made breakfast before returning to call her out of bed.
With half her face buried in the quilt, Cecilia’s head was spinning. She lingered between sleep and wakefulness—unable to open her eyes.
A gentle kiss landed on her cheek. Fu Zhiyan scooped her into his arms again, unready to let her go.
But he worried that if he let her sleep, she’d be mad once she realized the time.
The little white rabbit had been thoroughly bullied last night—she was always extra grumpy in the mornings afterward.
"Baby, time to get up."
She slapped his hand away, Cecilia frowning as she retreated beneath the covers.
"You really don’t want to get up? Then no complaining when you’re late," he teased, nipping her nose lightly.
Finally, her long lashes fluttered open, and she grimaced—her whole body aching. No matter how careful Fu Zhiyan was to clean her up every time, she’d always end up exhausted.
It was just so… long. Every single time. Wuwu.
Cecilia rolled over and pointedly ignored the culprit. Out of sight, out of mind.
Fu Zhiyan only chuckled softly, then slipped his hand under the covers to massage her. "If you don’t get up now, it’ll be ten o’clock, baby."
"..." With a start, Cecilia sat bolt upright, drew a sharp breath, and nearly toppled over—saved only by Fu Zhiyan’s quick reflexes.
"What’s the rush?"
"It’s ten already!! It’s all your fault—the auction’s probably starting!"
"So let it start. There’s someone handling things," he replied calmly.
"But… it’s not right for me not to be there. Uuu, hurry up, help me up!"
Fu Zhiyan could only oblige, hauling his diligent little sweetheart to her feet. "Sit, I’ll get your clothes."
He dressed her, slipped socks and soft slippers onto her feet, and only then let her get out of bed.
A quick wash-up, two slices of bread in hand, and Fu Zhiyan found himself being tugged downstairs by Cecilia.
